Mets fans, Yankee fans and Sea Crest fans alike, joined together for an All-Star Lunch at Sea Crest. Guests enjoyed standard baseball fare: hot dogs, tacos and fries, Haagen Dazs . . . as well as partaking in a virtual Wii form of the game.
The atmosphere inside Sea Crest was a marked contrast to the stormy and gloomy weather outside. The facility scored big with all attendees, who were energized by our optimistic and cheerful environment and our resounding message: We get our patients HOME!

On Wednesday, November 5, SeaCrest Health Care Center invited Discharge Planners from local area hospitals to an Afternoon of Relaxation to
help everyone unwind after a frenetic and historic Election Day. Following a festive holiday lunch prepared by SeaCrest's in-house Nutritional Expert and Chef, guests were treated to a massage and a yoga class, where they were taught some practical relaxation techniques. A lovely gift basket booth was set up in the corner of the dining room and each visitor was presented with a beautiful package that matched the number on their entrance ticket. After a comprehensive tour of the facility, our guests left enormously impressed with all SeaCrest has to offer patients following their hospital stay and especially during the peerless rehabilitative process.

A Fun-Filled Afternoon at the Seashore
Socials workers, discharge planners and other professionals in Long Term Care were welcomed to Sea Crest on Wednesday, July 23 for a delightful Afternoon at the Beach.
The Sea Crest dining room, decorated in a blue watery motif, opened up to an airy tent alongside "Landmark" Coney Island Boardwalk where guests enjoyed signature Coney Island beach fare – grilled hot dogs, corn on the cob, chilled salads, watermelon and Haagen Dazs sundaes. Seashells, shovels and pails, towels and sun hats graced the tables and Broadway tickets were auctioned off to a lucky few.
In Sea Crest's signature atmosphere of warmth, there was a wonderful camaraderie of Sea Crest staff members and visitors as everyone bonded and networked. Following the lunch, guests were treated to a tour of Sea Crest's state of the art facilities and were impressed by the the warmth, enthusiasm, and overall professionalism manifested in our spacious and hi-tech Rehab department.
Sporting a Sea Crest beach bag (proudly emblazoned with the new "Landmark Rehab" logo) on their shoulders and a smile on their faces, everyone left in good spirits. |
